IGN- Deadly Premonition is the definition of a system seller. Once you play it, you'll want to go sell your system. That may seem like a harsh statement, but it's been a long time since I've played any boxed retail game on any system that feels this amateurish.

Dynamic Themes do have awesome potential, I have LittleBigPlanet which to me is worth the asking price as well as wipeout, motorstorm artic ridge and afrika..all free and very well done.
I do think the us should have a least one theme free, so people can check out how cool they are...go on make a better gow theme or star wars...i dare you...lol

online multi player is great for certain games and others it sucks big ones...infact many games single player have suffered because of online.

I owned a ps2 and had never played 1&2
However I got the gow collection and was very pleased I did...they blow most current games totally away.
After them I was really looking forward to gow3..once i saw the recent footage..I am bloody speechless....if that plays as well as it's predecessors and looks that good...damn...it's why gaming is so cool

I had ylod and uncharted was stuck in the drive, I am sure the firmware update at the time was being blamed for ps3 failures too. Was the my ylod caused by either of these factors highly unlikely.
Read the forums the other day and people who had ylod and were playing gow collection were blaming that for over stressing.
You see my theory we live in a blame culture were everything on someone or something else, in reality s**t really can happen and be no ones direct fau...

My 60GB model broke down (YLOD). I refuse to pay or buy another one of those older models. I would love BC on my slim; kind of bored with my PS3 games already.

The exchange rate will only apply if you are English and go on say a two week holiday to the US, in this period you feel as though you are loaded.
However when you actually live in in the US earning and saving a dollar is no different than doing the same for a quid. So to save for a $300 ps3 is the same as saving for 300 quid ps3.
I am English but live in the US so I know the exchange really only applies if you are on a holiday in real life it is a pointless comparis...

Sony this gen are attempting an out of the box approach in many areas. I view Home a little bit like a cable subscription...I am given many choices of channel to watch...some I never would, some I tune in now and again and others I really enjoy. In home this relates to I don't like the far cry or warhawk areas.
I like playing the resistance and infamous mini games occasionally...
Surely the whole argument between wireless and wired is mute when the PS3 can give you both for the same price as the elite without wireless.
So while I currently have my ps3 on wireless (with no issues in 2+ years) I will one day run a couple of ethernet cables to my entertainment area the next time I install new carpets.
In other rooms I can still can get another ps3 for the wife solely for movies, run it wireless for bd live and updates.

I can't be the only person who has witnessed people of ALL age almost without exception stand open mouthed looking at a Blu Ray demo running. It's main drawback as been cost...that is coming down and becoming more and more affordable much like the HDTV's it enhances.
